The fine print, kept short.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Cart It Meal Planner, Inc. (“Cart It,” “we,” “us”), a U.S. company. By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate, current information and to update it as needed.

• Free trial. Cart It offers a 3-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your selected plan begins automatically.
• Pricing. Standard plans are $4.99 per month or $44.99 per year, billed in advance. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice for renewals.
• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel anytime from your account settings or your app-store subscription page.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. App-store purchases are subject to the refund policies of Apple or Google.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service.
• Scrape, mirror, resell, or otherwise commercially exploit any part of the Service without our prior written consent.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service or its underlying systems.
• Use the Service to violate the rights (including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights) of any third party, including Kroger.

Cart It integrates with third-party services, including Kroger. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, pricing, fulfillment, or quality of any third-party services. Cart It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Kroger Co.

You retain ownership of recipes, notes, and other content you submit to the Service. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service.

The Service, including all software, design, text, graphics, trademarks, and logos, is owned by Cart It or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international intellectual-property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

Some features use artificial intelligence to generate recipes and suggestions. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your particular dietary, medical, or allergen needs. You are responsible for reviewing AI suggestions before relying on them and before purchasing or consuming any ingredient. Cart It does not provide medical, nutritional, or allergen advice.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CART IT AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections intended by their nature to survive termination (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. YOU AND CART IT EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
